To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal Law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask you for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.

Every Business Checking Account includes these benefits and services:

Small Business Checking
  • Minimum Opening Deposit: $100
  • Monthly Fee – No Charge
  • Minimum Daily Balance – None
  • Interest paid on average collected balance of $5,000.00 or higher
  • First 150 Combined Items* – No Charge
  • Fee for Combined Items over 150 – $0.50 each
  • Free Online Banking statement or E-statement with check images
  • Paper statement with check images $3.00
  • Minimum opening deposit of $100.00 is required

Commercial Checking
  • Minimum Opening Deposit: $100
  • Monthly Fee: $10.00
  • FDIC Assessment – $0.02 per $100 average balance
  • Checks Deposited – $0.10 each
  • Checks Paid – $0.20 for each paid during the month
  • Electronic Debits and Credits – $0.16 each
  • Free Online Banking statement or E-statement with check images
  • Paper statement with check images $3.00
  • Service charges may be reduced or eliminated through an earnings credit
  • Minimum opening deposit of $100.00 is required

Savings

Whether you’re saving for a large purchase for your business or other expenses, our Savings Account is just right.  An opening deposit of $100 gets you started.

  • Interest is calculated on an Average Daily Balance and credited to your account quarterly
  • No maintenance fee if you maintain a balance of $100 or if customer is under Age 18
  • Monthly fee of $3 for balances under $100
  • Over two (2) withdrawals per month – $1 each
  • Quarterly statement
Money Management

The Money Management Account offers a competitive tiered interest rate.  The higher your balance, the higher rate of interest you earn.   An opening deposit of $100 is required for this account.

  • Interest is calculated on an Average Daily Balance and credited to your account monthly
  • No maintenance fee if you maintain a balance of $2,500
  • Monthly fee of $8 if balance falls below $2,500
  • $10 per transfer over 6 withdrawals per month
  • Monthly statement
Certificates of Deposit

Certificates of Deposit are a great way to get a better rate of return on your money. Bank of Cadiz & Trust Co. offers competitive rates on all terms of certificates from 3 months to 5 years. A minimum deposit of $500 is required on a term of one year or more and $2,500 for a term of less than one year. Monthly checks can be issued on certificates of $10,000 or more. A penalty is imposed if any part of the principal is withdrawn before the maturity date.

What You Need to Know About Overdrafts and Overdraft Fees

Overdraft coverage can give you peace of mind that your transactions will be paid, even if you don’t have the necessary funds in your account to cover them. Overdrawing can occur for a number of different reasons but with overdraft protection you can rest easy knowing that we’ve got you covered.

As a Bank of Cadiz business customer you can choose what type of overdraft coverage works for you or you can simply elect to not have overdraft protection on your account. Overdraft Protection is a service that can help you avoid overdraft fees and returned transactions.

  1. You can provide a source of funds, such as a savings account or line of credit, which can be linked to your checking account.
  2. Cash Reserve Credit Line is our overdraft protection that offers you the flexibility in managing your own funds. This is available for qualified customers subject to credit approval. (Conditions apply)

Overdraft Fees

Overdrafts can be created by: checks, ACH transactions, in-person withdrawals, internet banking, preauthorized automatic transfers, telephone banking, ATM, or everyday debit card transactions and will result in a fee of $35 per item paid or returned. Accounts will be charged an overdraft per day fee of $5.00 after the account has been negative for 4 days.

Overview:

  • Use a Windows-based PC with internet access to deposit checks to your Bank of Cadiz Business account at any time which makes funds available sooner
  • Choose a scanner to capture check images and Bank of Cadiz provides the Electronic Office Deposit software to manage and balance deposited items
  • Electronic Office Deposit system electronically transmits your deposits through a secure interface to Bank of Cadiz for processing

After deposits are posted to your account, you can retrieve images and verify account balances from Bank of Cadiz Electronic Cash Manager.

ACH Origination

By using ACH (Automated Clearing House) you can create electronic transfers to or from accounts of other businesses or individuals directly to your business account via ACH. Credit Line Sweep
How it works:
On each banking day, the Credit Line Sweep will compare the actual collected balance in the designated account to a minimum and a maximum control balance to be established jointly by the bank and the business.

¹Lines of Credit are subject to credit approval

If the actual collected balance exceeds the maximum control balance, excess funds will automatically be transferred to the company’s line of credit balance. If there is no balance on the line of credit the excess funds will remain in the account.
